Barton Benhoff

Barton’s career began in the fastener industry with organizations such as Endries International in Brillion, WI, and Precision Industries in Omaha, NE. He later spent more than a decade with Fastenal Company in multiple sales and leadership roles, where he strengthened his expertise in customer relationships, strategic sales and team support.

He went on to serve as a Regional Account Executive with Federal Foam Technologies, partnering with major manufacturers including Polaris Industries, CNH, Terex and Canadian leaders such as Buhler Versatile, New Flyer Industries and Motor Coach Industries. His work focused on improving product performance through acoustic and aesthetic solutions, collaborating closely with engineering and development teams.

In 2010, Barton entered the commercial cleaning industry during Carlson Building Maintenance’s acquisition of Diamond Shine in Cedar Rapids, IA. He played a key role in CBM’s growth from a local provider to a multi-state operation, helping expand services to more than 300 locations across eight states and supporting a workforce of 1,200 employees within three years.

Barton returned to the supply sector in roles with Veritiv Corporation and Diverse Maintenance Supply Inc., where he continued driving results in janitorial product solutions, operational efficiency and diversity initiatives with colleges and public institutions.

Most recently, he served as Senior Director of Sales at Bro-Tex, a long-standing leader in non-woven product conversion. His leadership helped guide the organization through significant industry challenges, including supply chain disruptions and tariff impacts.

Barton is excited to return to the service side of the janitorial industry with FBG Facility Services. “It’s great to be back in a field where I have deep roots and a strong foundation,” Barton shared. “Our team in New Brighton is energized and ready to grow our footprint and explore new service opportunities.”

Originally from Rockford, IL, Barton has called Minnesota home since 1996. He enjoys camping, mountain biking and hiking in the Boundary Waters and is a year-round beach volleyball competitor, traveling to Wisconsin in the winter for indoor sand tournaments. He is also inspired by the leadership and dedication of his wife, Kimberli, who works in Early Childhood Development serving underserved families.

FBG Facility Services is excited to welcome Barton to the team. His experience, leadership and passion for service will support continued growth and strengthen our partnerships throughout the Twin Cities.
