2024 Minnesota District Employee of the Year: Tremayne Nelson

In just two years with FBG, Tremayne has become a cornerstone of the Metropolitan Council account, consistently demonstrating leadership, professionalism and commitment to excellence.

With 18 years of prior custodial experience in Iowa, Tremayne joined FBG ready to take on challenges. He has adapted quickly to the dynamic demands of his role, excelling in one of the most challenging positions within the Metropolitan account. His efficiency, reliability and ability to handle changes with ease have solidified his reputation as one of FBG’s most dependable employees.

Tremayne embodies honesty and professionalism in every aspect of his work. He communicates effectively, addressing any issues that arise and ensuring that customer expectations are met consistently. As a quiet leader within a large account, Tremayne exudes confidence, patience and respect, making him an invaluable asset to both his team and FBG.

During a recent site visit, Tremayne demonstrated workplace safety by wearing his personal protective equipment and offering valuable suggestions to enhance safety measures. Outside of work, Tremayne is deeply committed to his family. Living with his parents, sister and nephews, he plays an active role in helping at home. In his free time, Tremayne enjoys outdoor activities like hiking, as well as drawing, reading, watching movies and cheering on his favorite football teams.
