FBG Welcomes Shaun McMahon as New Business Operations – Internal Manager in Omaha
FBG Facility Services is excited to announce the addition of Shaun McMahon as the new Business Operations – Internal Manager in Omaha. Shaun brings a wealth of experience and a fresh perspective to the role, drawing on an impressive background in both education and operations management.
Shaun previously spent 19 years as a Mathematics Instructor at Westside High School and Elkhorn Public Schools. He taught a variety of courses such as Algebra, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, AP Calculus I & II and AP Computer Science. In addition to teaching, Shaun also coached Junior Varsity and Varsity boys and girls tennis teams at Westside and Elkhorn South High School.
In 2023, Shaun transitioned from education to an Operations Manager role at Genesis Health Clubs, where he developed key operational insights. This is also where he met Andy Petersen, FBG’s President, who ultimately led him to his role at FBG. Shaun’s academic background includes an Associate’s degree in Business Administration from Southeast Community College, a Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Math Education from the University of Nebraska Lincoln and two Master’s degrees — one in Mathematics from the University of Nebraska Omaha and another in Curriculum and Instruction from Peru State College.
Shaun is eager to bring his data-driven approach to FBG. “The company’s dynamic potential for growth is impressive, and in my short time here, I’ve had the pleasure of meeting many great people who have been incredibly welcoming and supportive,” he shared. “It’s clear that FBG fosters an environment where professional growth is encouraged and recognized.” Shaun looks forward to working with the team to analyze data and create strategies that will drive FBG’s ongoing success.
Outside of work, Shaun enjoys spending time with his family. He and his wife Staci live in Gretna with their three children: Camden, 21, a Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Nebraska Lincoln, Kinsley, 18, a senior at Gretna High School and Kendall, 14, a freshman at Gretna High School. When he’s not cheering on his kids at their travel baseball or volleyball games, Shaun enjoys tennis, golf, home improvement projects and the occasional crossword puzzle.
Welcome, Shaun! We’re excited to have you on board and look forward to your contributions to FBG.
