Quad Cities District 2017 Employee of the Year Gloria Salinas

Gloria has spent the last four and a half years making sure the students at Spencer Loomis Elementary have a clean, safe and healthy environment in which to learn. She increased her skill set with floor tech training and even learned how to operate Kaivac equipment.

Perhaps one of the best qualities about Gloria is her integrity. Not only does Gloria seek new ways to improve the cleanliness and appearance of the Lake Zurich District schools, if she says she’s going to do something, she does it completely and with 100 percent of her effort. She is also very helpful, stepping in to work wherever the need is, be it the school or the administration building.

Gloria enjoys church activities and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
