Riverdale Accepts Gifted Flags

Last Veteran’s Day, the Quad Cities team presented American flags to all the Riverdale Principals: Rick Dwyer, Jim Jennings and Josh Temple.

FBG and the crew at Riverdale presented these flags on behalf of Riverdale’s Head of Maintenance, Bill Mathias, as a way of saying thank you for his service in the Army and to Riverdale’s students, facility and community for the past 25+ years.

We also offered to take their current flags and have them disposed of in retirement ceremony, which the students were invited to experience. FBG’s Alyson Findley, Kris LeGrand and Kelly Findley are members of the Green Rock Colona American Legion Post #1233 that offers the flag retirement ceremony. The ceremony will be held this spring.  Thank you, Quad Cities District, for your generous display of gratitude.
