Roxana Guevara Parado Named FBG’s 2025 Colorado Springs District Employee of the Year
FBG Facility Services is proud to recognize Roxana Guevara Parado as the 2025 Employee of the Year for the Colorado Springs District. Roxana has been part of the FBG team for 23 years and throughout her career, she has consistently treated her role with the pride and responsibility of an owner.
Roxana is known for her strong work ethic and commitment to meeting the needs of our clients at Lumen Technologies. Whether helping with floor care, responding to customer requests or supporting special project work, she is always willing to step in and take on additional responsibility. Her goal is simple but important: to make sure every facility receives the best possible service.
She demonstrates integrity in both her daily work and in challenging situations. During a recent workplace incident, Roxana played an important role by assisting with the investigation and carefully reviewing the workspace and job duties involved. She shared her concerns openly and professionally, helping leadership reach a clear and fair conclusion while supporting FBG’s commitment to a safe work environment.
Roxana is also known for her problem-solving skills and her ability to support her teammates. When staffing shortages occur, whether planned or unexpected, she helps suggest duty assignments so that client needs are still met. Team members often turn to her for guidance when they are uncertain, and she willingly steps in to coach and support them.
No matter the circumstances, including late evenings, difficult weather or special client events, Roxana consistently puts quality first. She holds herself accountable for the level of service delivered each night and takes pride in showing customers why they chose FBG. Her consistency and dedication make her a strong example of what it means to be an employee owner.
Those who have worked with Roxana often describe her as positive, encouraging and a joy to be around. People regularly comment on her welcoming attitude, warm smile and confidence in the work being done. She leaves others feeling reassured and proud of the service provided.
Outside of work, Roxana has devoted much of her life to supporting her family. She has helped raise three children and spent nearly 17 years cleaning residential homes. In her free time, she enjoys cooking and spending time with her family.
Roxana represents the very best of FBG through her pride in her work, her care for others and her leadership by example. Her dedication to quality, service and teamwork makes her a deserving recipient of the Colorado Springs District Employee of the Year award.
