Sarpy County is the fastest growing county in Nebraska with more than 750 companies that are Chamber Members. FBG Sales Director, Diane Pesek, serves on the Sarpy County Leadership Advisory Board having graduated from their Leadership Sarpy program. Leadership Sarpy’s mission is to develop leaders who will actively engage in strengthening Sarpy County and promoting its well-being.

Leadership Sarpy exists to stimulate participants’ thinking personally, professionally and about Sarpy County. Participants are invited to “inspire and initiate performance, collaboration and change within Sarpy County.” The program is unique in that it encompasses many aspects of business, volunteerism, community involvement, community services, and city, county and state government necessary for the county’s growth and sustainability. The class members meet once a month for 10 months and become more than business associates and mentors to each other—strong friendships are made as well.
